Patrick Clair

Patrick Clair

Patrick Clair is a director, creative director, and motion designer currently based in Sydney, Australia. He is creative head of production studio Antibody.

Clair has an undergraduate degree from Queensland University of Technology, where he focused on live-action directing, including 16mm short films, and a graduate degree in visual effects and titles design from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. After finishing his studies, he worked at MTV and with Australia's national broadcaster the ABC. He freelanced for several years until starting Antibody in Sydney, Australia. In 2014, he joined Santa Monica-based studio Elastic before returning to Sydney and studio Antibody in 2020.

He has created work for advertising, production, and broadcast, producing work for HBO, Netflix, MTV, NBC, ABC, and Ubisoft. He has been creative director on the title sequences for TV shows True Detective (2014), Halt and Catch Fire (2014), The Man in the High Castle (2015), Marvel's Daredevil (2015), True Detective (Season 2) (2015), The Night Manager (2016), Marvel's Luke Cage (2016), Westworld (2016), The Crown (2016), Marvel's Iron Fist (2017), American Gods (2017), The Terror (2018), True Detective (Season 3) (2019), and Westworld (Season 3) (2020). He has won numerous Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Main Title Design.
